There is always tomorrow.

Yesterday I set out for a 3 mile run. My pace was pretty usual, but I just couldn't get into my usual "groove" during the run, so I stopped after two miles. I just felt sluggish and tired - not the way I usually feel around mile 2. But at least I got out there, (thank you for reminding me of this, Southbaygirl - you're the best!) and I totally agree with Pokey, who says "A run is a run is a run".

Boot camp class today was an awesome workout with circuit training and lots of leg work. Tomorrow is another day and I'll set out for another 3 or 4 mile run.

Would you believe I'm already knitting up Christmas gifts? Yep - no rush knitting for me this holiday season. Here's a butterfly hat I made for my grandma. We'll see how long the holiday knitting streak lasts.

I am seriously impressed with the early holiday knitting. I just don't have that kind of... providence? :) Willpower I got oodles of... sometimes... hehe with the proper motivation of course.

Thanks for the lovely comments on my Koolhaas! I thin hats are my favorite things to knit - complicated things can go quick :) Don't worry about your run - I like that "a run is a run is a run" - so true

I'm so going to knit one of those hats. It's going to be my playgroup hat...so I don't have to think much while I am pulling my kid off monkey bars or telling her not to pick up cigarette butts or gum. Perfect. What yarn is that?

Congrats on the beginning of Christmas knitting - I can't do it so early, as I always want to give it to the person right away, I'd never be able to wait so long! Good for you!

I love bootcamp style classes. Such a nice change from the running from time to time. Great job on starting the Christmas presents. I start doing that around November. Of course I don't make my own gifts either.

I agree with Jenny-I'm incredibly impressed that you are knitting for the holidays!! Didn't the holidays just end?? WOW!

Some days you just don't have great feeling running days!! I have those days-I don't like them but I have them. I think I'm having one today! I find that if I take a day or two off, it's harder for me to get back into it...maybe that means no rest day for me??? Who knows! I will eventually motivate and get out there and do something-but I'm using the I need my new shoes excuse!!

Seems like you're having a great workout with your bootcamp! A very nice compliment to running!!

A run is a run is a run - I love it. My mantra is, tomorrow is another day. At least you're out and enjoying the sunshine! (Hopefully it IS sunny!)

Love that hat - and the early Christmas motivation!

Hey, sometimes you just need a break from running. Don't beat yourself up.

So funny you're already knitting Christmas gifts. Good for you. I'd that too, but I have so many wedding related projects to finish by November.

You are so impressive, already doing holiday knitting. None of my family cares if I knit for them, so I don't. I definitely want to make one of those hats though.

I usually start my Christmas gifts in the summer. It feels so much better to have them done early before that Holiday rush sets in! (I do paper crafts)
