No Running = Going Crazy

I haven't run in 4 days. I had planned to do a 4 mile run on Sunday. At 1.5 miles, I started feeling some pain in my hamstring. So I stopped at 2 miles and thought that I could just make up the mileage later on in the week. Monday was bootcamp and I got through it fine. Tuesday my hamstring was still a little tender, so I decided to rest. Yesterday was bootcamp and I started to feel the pain again during our cardio circuit (those suicides really did me in). I ended up limping around for a little while yesterday. It's been hard but today I'm not running in the hopes that I can get out there for a good run tomorrow or Saturday. I hate injuries!

I am knitting up a gift for my friend's birthday, and since she reads this blog, I can't post any pics until after she receives it.

According to this quiz, I'm a Knitting Guru. How about you?

Good thinking on waiting till the weekend - you don't want to push too hard and do more damage!

Good luck on the run!

I'm a knitting guru too:-)--this was my favorite: "Packing for vacation involves leaving ample space for the stash and supplies." I'm about to leave for a 2 week vacation and spent a while planning my project for the 20 some hours I will be in transit to my destination!

I forgot to say, that I am a wreck of a knitter -- self taught, not to hot, but love it love it love it. I wish I had more time.
