And she's back!

I had a great run yesterday. I was a little sore from boot camp class but decided to get out there and see how it went. I did an easy 3 miles and was able to keep up a great pace despite the high winds. At least I can say I trained during really windy days. No matter what direction I ran in, it felt like I was running like this:

I finished another hat for a swap that I am in. It's the Amanda hat in Malabrigo yarn. Malabrigo continues to be a dream to knit with. I really like this pattern and will definitely be knitting one of these hats up for myself. It was a really quick knit - just a few nights of knitting. Thank goodness LOST wasn't on as you do have to pay attention to the pattern.

Doesn't running in the wind suck? Especially when you don't get a respite in one direction!!! But you got out there-so your 3 miles, work wise, was probably more like 4 miles!!! yeah!!!

I can't wait to run in my new shoes-really looking forward to it. And yes taking days off is hard for me-I used to run 7 days straight, but realized as I got older my body wasn't recovering as quickly-so I'm slowly learning to embrace days off-I still do something though unless I'm a total slug!!!

Are you going to run the 6 miles this weekend??

GREAT HAT! I Love Malabrigo! I've made four hats with it from a Knitty pattern. Two were for a charity auction at work and one for my daughter and one for me!

I will pkpwv - running in the wind sucks!

Keep on going! Off to ice shin and knit for a bit!

The hat is wonderful! And I love the subtle color variations in the yarn. Where do you buy your malbrigo?

hey RK,
I don't know if the 10 miler will be easy but i think I'm incorporating a 10k into it just to break it up so I'm not running by myself!!! So i'll only have to run 4 miles by myself...

Thanks for the encouraging words. the entertainment industry sucks! I love it but hate it at the same time!!! Oh to have a real job!!!

Are you running that 6 miles with your friends this weekend?? I hope you will do it!!!

Well....did you run 6 miles today? did you? did you? I hope so! If not, it's ok!!! But grab those chances of running with people-makes it so much easier! Unless you want to come and run with Velcro! It's always an entertaining run with her!

Penny

Hey what is Malabrigo?
