Thank you to everyone for your comments on my 10K post. I took a couple of days off from running, but couldn't let today go by without sneaking a run in - even after going to a tough boot camp class this morning. So I got out there and did an easy 2 miles. It was very windy and I could tell that my body is definitely not used to double sessions but since I don't believe in "bad" runs, it was still a run.
Tomorrow night, Mr. Running Knitter and I are going to see Spirit of the Marathon. I've heard excellent things about it so I'm excited to see it and will definitely post a review.
I'm knitting up another birthday gift for a friend, which I'll be able to post about next week after she receives it. I also started knitting holiday gifts - if you can believe that. I started the butterfly hat for my grandma. No pics yet but I should have it done in a couple of days.

I like that motto - no "bad" runs - at least you're running! That's a great way to look at it, often times I get so wrapped up in times and distances.
My marathon isn't until June, but I'm always worried I'll throw off my mojo by missing runs and then get injured and miss more. I think I worry too much ;)
Thanks, I hope I get better soon too :)
I also like that motto of no bad runs! I'll keep that in mind when I head out this morning. :-)
Good job on your 2 miler, and you're very positive about the "no bad runs"! Maybe I need a better attitude.
really?? holiday knitting already?! i'm inspired!
Yup, I'm starting holiday knitting this month too. I need to get a head start. I figure if I do one small project a month, I can still finish my KAL socks and get ahead of the game.
I'll miss you tonight. :)
That movie sounds so neat. I don't think it is coming to a town near me. DARN IT!! Let us know how you like it. Oh my, you know how many times I have said I had a "bad run". Geez, that is negative talk isn't it. I am not doing that any longer. Thanks for the attitude check.
You'll have to let me know how the marathon movie is. I could either see it as inspiring or something that would make me feel worse about my own lack of progress :-p
Great movie-very inspiring. I wish I had worked on it. Because I work in the film industry, I was a little bummed at how it was shot, but it was great!!
