Sangria does not make you run faster.

Thank you to everyone for your great comments. My friends in blogland are the best.

Last night, the hubby and I went to Carrabbas for dinner. If you have not tried their sangria, it is the best sangria I've ever had. It was so good we ordered a pitcher of it.

So in case you were wondering, sangria does not make you run faster. I found that out this morning on my run, and boot camp yesterday was KILLER, so that didn't help my run either. My hamstrings were really sore, but I figured a short run would probably do the muscles some good. The hamstrings are much better now after my run.

I'm halfway done with a pair of Twin Rib socks in Plucky Knitter yarn. I love the colors and how it's knitting up. This pair is for me.

Happy almost Friday!

That's funny- I was JUST thinking about half an hour ago how I could really go for a glass of sangria.

Sangria is probably one of the most amazing drinks ever. Even if it doesn't make you run faster:)

Wise words there, girl. But that pitcher looks super good!

I love sangria. Thank You for reading my blog and being the first to post to it! I really appreciate it. I like the socks too I'm clueless about knitting socks!

I haven't ever been there but now I will go just for the drinks. I love Sangria. Another good place for Sangria is LaGrande Orange in Phoenix. So good.

Socks look awesome.

Yeah... sangria and most red wine have that cement legs effect.

Sangria is yummy. Who needs to run faster? Oh right. Us. Mmm, ok. Still, sangria on special days is a great idea - glad you could savor it.

Who cares! Sangria is gooo-ood! You can run any day of the week, but a yummy pitcher of Sangria...kind of a special treat, ya know?

Love Carrabas! Good job staying with the workouts. I can't wait for my new gym to open up so I can get in on something like the Boot Camp. Have a great weekend.

Ohh I gotta try their Sangria. it always calls my name but I ignore it. I won't try it before a run though. Thanks for the warning :-)

Glad the hamstrings are loose again.

Sangria may not make you run faster in the morning, but it sure will make me run fast out of work today!

I guess Carrabas won't be marketing their sangria as a sports drink anytime soon, then. Bet it would be a tasty post-run drink, though - then you wouldn't have to worry about it slowing you down!

Thanks for your post about the yellow hat - it made me smile! :)

Hey, I got to your blog via sauchagirl's blog. Since I like to knit and run, I wanted to check out your blog. I like the sangria-sports drink and the socks!

Love the socks. I went to my favorite yarn shop today after work and they told me to go to that website you told me about. Maybe this weekend.

thanks for visiting my blog! Lol, I've never thought to try the sangria at Carrabba's, but I haven't ever had anything there I *didn't* like, so I'll bet it's amazing :)

The colors in those socks are fantastic, too - I'm a bit of a sock junkie, so I can imagine how much trouble I'd get into if I knew how to knit them myself (the heels throw me all topsy-turvy :)

That's funny. And I was going to bring sangria as my energy replacement on my run today! Phew, thanks for the tip :P

Hehe. Cute socks :)

Welcome to HYC! Obviously, with that 30-pound bling in your sidebar, you are no beginner to the journey. Looking forward to keeping up with your progress, though.

So are you saying I'd be in better shape if I stopped drinking that pitcher of sangria every night? But I don't wanna!! :)
