Results!

Today was measurements and weigh in at boot camp. After four months of camp, the proof is in the numbers: I've lost 17 pounds, and also lost 16 1/2 inches. Add to that three great runs this week - all with faster than usual times. I wonder if my adding a walking break here and there made me run faster? Hopefully I can keep up the momentum for the 10K in a couple of weeks.

Not much knitting news to report. Since a few gals from my knitting group got me to start watching LOST, I have spent every free moment watching all the episodes. I'm up to Season 2, and this is one of those shows where I can't knit and watch at the same time. I'd just end up with too many knitting mistakes.

Lastly, this Sunday is Superbowl Sunday. My goal is to not indulge in snacks and treats, and cheer the Patriots on to victory. Have a great weekend.

Congratulations on the good results! yeah... lost is not knitting tv. I can *maybe* do something plain during it, but never any great amount. Good luck with the lack of snacking this weekend!

Congratulations on losing 17 pounds! That's pretty awesome. Keep up the good work and keep on running. You'll see yourself get faster and the pounds will just drift away. You're going to kick it in that 10K!

Congrats on the weight and inches lost! That's exceptional!!! You'll do great at the 10k...if my penguin pace can accomplish it in a driving wind and rain you've got it made.....and I'm a Colts fan but cheering for the Giants.....

(sorry about the Patriots...granted I didn't even know the super bowl was yesterday until I overheard some folks talking about it...at like 9:30pm last night)

17 pounds! Excellent! I broke a knitting needle once watching an intense show. Some TV is not meant for knitting!

Yes I agree a bad run is better than sitting at home doing nothing! They can't all be good, I guess. I think it was just a downer because I had such an amazing sunday running in the 10k that I want them all to be like that. I know they cant...but you can always wish and hope!!!

How's the workout going? And the knitting? I have knitted in about 2 years. Now that the ex-boyfriend is gone maybe I should start back knitting!!!
